| What did the NWCAV experience mean to you? |
It introduced me to the professional world of pastry and gave me all the skills to work in a professional environment. The instructors were amazing mentors who provided me with so much support, even years after graduating. |

| Where are you working now? |
I am currently employed as the Pastry Chef for Cravings Restaurant and lounge where I am responsible for designing and producing all the desserts for their new dessert program. Before that, I worked as a chocolatier and as a cook in a catering company. |

| What are your long term goals? |
I am happy in my current position but in a year or two may look to start my own cake company and become more skilled in chocolate production. |

| Information you would like to share with prospective NWCAV students |
NWCAV is a great choice in particular if you are a mature student who has come from an entirely differenty career or a younger student who is really serious about working in pastry. It was the best choice I could have made for myself. |
