| What did the NWCAV experience mean to you? |
It was an amazing experience to find myself surrounded by people, both students and instructors alike, who love food and cooking as much as I do. The courses are both physically and mentally challenging. |
|
| Where are you working now? |
In October 2009, I will be deploying to Antarctica to work as a baker for 5 months at McMurdo Station. |
|
| What are your long term goals? |
I plan to continue working and traveling to explore the world's cultures and cuisines as much as I can before settling down. Also, I am very interested in the effects of food on the human body and nutrition, especially pertaining to endurance athletes, and I am considering returning to school to pursue that. Eventually I would like to open a place of my own, like a small cafe or pie shop. |

| Information you would like to share with prospective NWCAV students |
Allow yourself to make mistakes, but never the same one twice. Eat, drink, and live well! |
